Prajakta discovered her love for music at a young age in Mumbai, India. She studied Hindustani vocals at the prestigious Deodhar’s School of Indian Music (est. 1925) and continued learning under renowned artists Shri B. N. Patange and Smt. Anjali Tai Pohankar, focusing on thumri and semi-classical styles.
 
Beyond Hindustani classical, Prajakta explores ghazals, western classical, and jazz. She has performed for audiences across India and California at shows, private events, fundraisers and charity programs, while also collaborating with fellow artists across other aspects of art, music, and creativity.
 
Now based in Southern California, Prajakta balances a career in healthcare with her lifelong devotion to music. She believes in continuous artistic growth—staying true to her voice while creating meaningful musical experiences that connect deeply with listeners.
