Prajakta discovered her passion for music at a young age in Mumbai, India, learning from her first guru—her mother, Mrs. Priya Parab. She later trained in Hindustani vocals at the renowned Deodhar’s School of Indian Music, founded in 1925, and studied under esteemed artists like Shri B. N. Patange and Smt. Anjali Tai Pohankar, mastering classical, Thumri, and semi-classical styles.

Beyond Hindustani classical, Prajakta embraces ghazals, Western classical, and jazz, blending diverse influences into her soulful performances. She has brought soulful music to diverse audiences in India and California, performing at private events, weddings, fundraisers, and charities, while also collaborating with local artists on music production, video editing, and event planning.

Now based in Southern California, Prajakta balances a career in healthcare with her deep-rooted love for music. She believes in constant artistic evolution, staying true to her craft while offering listeners a unique and heartfelt musical experience.
